UNDP/UNICEF School Cleanup Project and Signup

We partnered with the UNDP and UNICEF to clean up all lower schools and high schools in Abaco. There was an outstanding turn out for those willing to sign up as paid beneficiaries for the project. Those who signed up received pay for cleaning up and removing debris from the school grounds. This project not only sought to get the schools clear of obstructions, but also to give to the volunteers so that they can take care of themselves and their families. The Lillie Renee Foundation’s teams were overjoyed to facilitate this project and will continue to partner with other NGO’s that have stepped in to assist with the relief and recovery efforts in Abaco.
